Using Milo

Blue Fox Studios, an LLC based in Salem, Oregon, operates Milo. In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Blue Fox Studios. These Terms of Service govern your use of Milo, including its app and related services. By using Milo, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Milo helps you organize horse profiles, care records, feed information, activities, training plans, appointments, and events, and connect with equestrian professionals. Available features may change over time.

Your account

You must be legally able to enter this agreement and provide accurate account information. If you use Milo for a business or another person, you must have permission to act on their behalf.

Keep your sign-in credentials secure, do not share your account, and let us know if you believe someone has accessed it without permission. You are responsible for the information you submit and the actions you authorize through your account.

Your records and shared access

You retain any ownership rights you have in the records, photos, and other content you submit. You give us permission to store, process, and display that content as needed to operate Milo, including making it available through the sharing and access features you use.

Only submit content you have the right to use. Request or grant horse and barn access only when you are authorized to do so. Different horse and barn roles have different permissions; review those permissions before giving someone access.

Information you share may be viewed or used by people with access to it. Removing access later cannot retrieve copies someone has already made outside Milo.

Respectful and lawful use

Do not use Milo to break the law, impersonate someone, misrepresent your qualifications or horse ownership, harass others, or share content that violates another person’s privacy or intellectual property rights.

Do not upload malicious software, attempt to access accounts or records without authorization, bypass access controls, or disrupt the service.

Horse care and generated suggestions

Milo is an organization and planning tool. Care records, nutrition information, training suggestions, weather information, and due-date indicators are not a diagnosis, prescription, or substitute for advice from a qualified veterinarian or other appropriate professional.

Generated suggestions and information from users or external sources may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Check information before acting on it and adapt plans to the horse’s condition and circumstances. Do not rely on Milo to monitor an emergency or ensure that a reminder is delivered.

Professionals, bookings, and events

Professional services are provided by the professional you choose. Confirm their qualifications, availability, service details, price, and cancellation policy before making an appointment. A listing or booking in Milo does not guarantee a professional’s suitability or the outcome of their work.

Recording a show entry in Milo does not register you with the event organizer. Complete official registration and any required payment directly through the organizer’s process.

External websites and services have their own terms and privacy practices. Review them before using those services.

Payments and cancellations

Where payment is available through Milo, review the amount, any fees, and the applicable booking or service terms before authorizing a payment. Payments may be handled by a third-party processor, whose terms also apply.

For professional appointments, confirm cancellation and refund arrangements with the professional before booking. Cancelling an appointment or deleting your Milo account does not, by itself, refund a payment. Nothing in these terms limits refund or other consumer rights provided by applicable law.

Milo’s software and content

Milo’s software, branding, and content supplied by us or our licensors remain their respective owners’ property. You may use the app for its intended purposes, subject to these terms and any applicable app-store license. You may not copy, sell, or distribute our software or content except as permitted by the owner or by law.

This does not transfer ownership of your own content to Milo.

Privacy and account deletion

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Review it alongside these terms.

You can request account deletion from the Settings card on your Profile. Review the deletion preview before confirming: shared horse records may remain for other users, and certain booking, invoice, payment, and barn records may be retained. Deleting an account does not cancel commitments you made to a professional or event organizer.

Availability and liability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, complete records, or delivery of notifications. Keep copies of records you need independently of Milo.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available, without warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy. To that same extent, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.

These terms do not exclude or limit any liability, warranty, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Suspension and changes

We may restrict or suspend access where necessary to address a breach of these terms, unauthorized access, harmful activity, or a legal requirement. You may stop using Milo at any time.

We may revise these terms as the service changes. The revision date identifies the version shown here. Any notice or consent required by applicable law still applies.
